Academy Payment Options
You will enter your preferred payment type during Step 6 – Online Enrollment.
If accepted to HighPoint Hybrid Academy, each student will use the HighPoint Learning curriculum platform.
There are two options to pay for the HighPoint Learning online curriculum.
Option A
Self Pay
Pay for the HighPoint Learning Curriculum platform and HighPoint Hybrid Academy.
Option B
Public School
Enroll with a public school that will pay for the HighPoint Learning Curriculum Platform and the family pays for the optional HighPoint Hybrid Academy.

Self Pay
Families have the option to pay HighPoint Hybrid Academy directly for costs. We have families who choose this for a variety of reasons.
If you decide to self-pay, you will choose this option and a payment plan while completing your online enrollment packet with HighPoint Hybrid Academy.

As you complete the enrollment process you will sign up for a payment account through our financial management system (FACTS) to collect self-pay costs for the school year. You will be able to choose to pay in full, by semester, or by monthly payments. You will also have an incidental billing account activated.
Option B
Public School
Families have the option to enroll with a public school to pay for the HighPoint Learning curriculum platform. We have families who choose this for a variety of reasons.

Once you are fully enrolled with the public school, your required curriculum resources will be ordered and shipped to your home.
If you choose this option, your family must fulfill the State of Michigan requirements for virtual students.
- Two-way communication with Mentor Teacher every week during the calendar year
- Count Month specific two-way communication with Mentor Teacher for fall and winter semesters
- Xello EDP for 7th and 9th only
- NWEA Math and Reading Screenings for K-11th, three times a year from home
- M-STEP Testing on specified dates in the spring for 3rd-8th
