Type A

Public School District

Families have the option to enroll with Clarkston Community Schools (Renaissance Virtual) as a school of choice student (if outside of Clarkston School District) to receive the HighPoint Virtual Curriculum. Families must fulfill Clarkston Community School’s yearly requirements to qualify.

Review a complete list of Public School District costs & fees.

To find out more go to www.clarkston.k12.mi.us/enroll/online and review the HighPoint Learning Program Requirements. The Clarkston Community Schools (CCS) enrollment process will be published below by early April.

If you choose to enroll as a school of choice student with Clarkston, this will require that you fulfill any requirements that Clarkston sets forth, including, but not limited to, weekly check-ins, count months, assessments, EDP, and MSTEP testing.

If you choose to enroll with our public school option, you will choose this and a payment plan while completing your online enrollment packet with HighPoint Hybrid Academy.

As you complete the enrollment process you will sign up for a payment account through our financial management system (FACTS) to collect administrative fees for the school year. You will be able to choose to pay in full, by semester, or by monthly payments. You will also have an incidental billing account activated.

The incidental account will show the amount coming from CCS for payment toward your child/children’s yearly HighPoint Virtual Curriculum. This means that your account will show a $4000 balance. This is for our bookkeeping purposes. Your payment method will not be charged provided your child fulfills the requirements set forth by CCS.

  • We will bill this in two installments, one per semester.
  • The first installment will be due by Dec. 31 of the current year.
  • The second installment will be billed for the following year on May 31st.
  • We do this in $2,000 increments per child in the program that is using Clarkston.
  • In the event that a child does not fulfill the requirements of CCS, the parent will be responsible to pay for the HighPoint Virtual Curriculum.
  • Families choosing the school of choice option are still responsible for all fees beyond the virtual curriculum.
Type B

Self Pay

Families have the option to pay HighPoint Hybrid Academy directly for costs. We have families who choose this for a variety of reasons. Some live out of the area permitted for school of choice while others prefer not to partner with a public school system.

If you choose to self-pay, you will choose this option and a payment plan while completing your online enrollment packet with HighPoint Hybrid Academy.

Review a complete list of Self Pay costs & fees.

How does it look on your financial account if you use the self-pay option with HighPoint Hybrid Academy?

As you complete the enrollment process you will sign up for a payment account through our financial management system (FACTS) to collect self-pay costs for the school year. You will be able to choose to pay in full, by semester, or by monthly payments. You will also have an incidental billing account activated.
